This organization offers training programs that meet the quality and standards needed for painter/decorator trades and well as those for architectural glass. The Interior Finishing Systems Training Centre offers hazmat, drywall finishing and EIFS. Instruction includes training materials, proper methods and techniques and equipment.

The Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities is also a great resource for you to learn more about the type of skilled trade you’d like to learn, especially if you’re unsure of the career path you’d like to take. This website is available to help you decipher what your interests are and how to incorporate them into your new skill set. It will help you take the steps necessary to get signed up and started with apprenticeship training.
