If you have been following our Facebook page, you may have seen one of our latest videos from The Russo Report where our Business Manager, Joe Russo, discussed upcoming construction job opportunities for 2014. If you missed it, we thought we’d offer a quick recap with assurances that job prospects in the Toronto job market are looking up.
New infrastructure projects are currently taking place with local hospitals being built, including the expansion taking place at the Humber River Regional Hospital. The great thing about hospital projects is that construction involves all of our trades.
And, as you may be aware, the Pan Am/Parapan Am games are coming to Toronto in July & August of 2015. This will lead to a variety of new construction jobs including creating the stadiums, athletes villages and other buildings needed for the games to run smoothly and to welcome spectators. More information on these projects will be provided as details become available.
Residentially speaking, the market for building condominiums in downtown Toronto and other surrounding cities remains strong and continues to look promising into 2014.
