With all the talk lately on our website about how to join a Union, we thought we should take a quick moment to talk about how to get an apprenticeship in Ontario. The IUPAT focuses on the construction trades including residential and industrial painters, drywall finishers, glaziers, EIFS mechanics and stucco workers, asbestos removers and sign writers. All of these are in- demand fields.

Not only do they discuss the opportunities that are available at the tranining centres, but they also discuss how money can be earned during your training and grants that are available to help pay for schooling.
