Young people in Jane-Finch are once again receiving a special surprise thanks to the IUPAT painters union whose members represent various trades including painting, drywall taping and glazing. Workers of the IUPAT are collecting back packs and monies for school supplies to give to Jane-Finch youngsters in time for their return to the classroom. In partnership with the Firgrove Tenants Association, the IUPAT will also give out five $5,000.00 scholarships to support several high school students to further their education. These will be awarded on the basis of positive community involvement, rather than academic achievement.

Please find the Arbitrator’s Agreement for Residential Tapers effective June 27.
Click on the post to read the agreement.

Once this meeting is over, we will have a better idea of whether we will have a new offer to bring back to you or if we are on strike. Please check our website and our Facebook page for updates, as well as your union representative for more information.
