New Members Orientation
District Council 46 has launched the New Member Orientation Program!!!
The presentation covers points of interest to the member especially on the benefits portion of the presentation. Information that is presented is the following;
- The IUPAT Washington structure & officers
- Ontario Council of the IUPAT
- Structure and introduction of District Council 46 representatives
- Local Union membership services
- Finances of the IUPAT in Ontario and at the District Council
- Presentation of the Union benefits and pension
- What your Union can offer you as a member
The presentation is extremely informative with constitution, bylaws, collective agreements and all other information required as a member of the Union.
Many IUPAT members attended the presentation and had several relevant questions about their rights and obligations as union members. Several attendees commented on how informative the presentation was and had positive feedback about the process and the presentation. We will resume the sessions in September for all new IUPAT Members. The date, location and time will appear on this website page.We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to those members who participated!
